Every element of our electrical and cooling infrastructure is in place to a minimum of N+1 with N+2 being standard in many core areas. The benefit to our clients is that power is guaranteed to be available to your critical servers and telecommunications equipment due to the exceptional standards and investment adopted by Data Electronics.
There are no single-points-of-failure at our facility and this is bore out by the fact that there has been 100% service availability since March 2001, the month the facility saw its first customer going live.
The ESB installed and manage a dedicated 5 MW Sub Station at Kilcarbery Park that meets all of the power needs for our data centre now and right up-to every tile in the centre being populated.
Data Electronics delivers fully redundant power feeds (A & B) to each client's cabinet(s) and at a minimum this delivers 32 individual power outlets per cabinet.
Each of these feeds is fed direct from totally independent Power Distribution Units (PDU’s), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (USP’s), Generators and Transformers.
