Environmental control is a fundamental function of any Data Centre provider. In order to ensure clients systems are not exposed to heat levels that could cause system failure, Data Electronics has implemented a comprehensive Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.

The temperature level in the Data Centre is maintained between 20-22ºC

Hot Row / Cold Row design for increased efficiency
This is done using a coolant system containing 90% Water and 10% Ethylene Glycol with the following capacity:
14 CCUs (Close Control Units) capable of providing 29 tons of cooling capacity each bringing the total tonnage to 406.
Future Proof Design:
The raised floor area is plumbed to allow for chilled water cooling to individual cabinets necessary to cool racks full of next generation Blade Servers: each one of the loops in every room is fitted with valves ready to connect hoses to drive this chilled water into the cabinets.
We have capacity to expand our infrastructure to support current and future cooling capacity needs. The building is designed to take up to five chillers which will allow us to cool up to 30KW per cabinet, which is far in excess of competitors' data facilities.
